When the MCU lead time doesn't fit the plan
MCU lead times stretch when fab capacity tightens, and a qualified microcontroller cannot be swapped the way a resistor can. If your RL78 or RX order has been pushed out and production is committed, the options are: wait, requalify a substitute, or find the same part number through another channel.
Our hard-to-find sourcing service checks agents, brokers and distributor networks in Shenzhen and Hong Kong for that exact part number. If it is genuinely unavailable, we tell you that and propose possible alternatives with matching specifications, for your engineers to approve.
